AIS "Snapshot" Day, Sat. Aug. 17, 2019


Waukesha County invites residents of all ages to participate in the 6th AIS Annual Snapshot Day on Saturday, August 17 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.


Held at five locations throughout the county, this hands-on citizen science event relies on volunteers to help search for aquatic invasive species in local lakes, rivers and streams. The effort is coordinated in partnership with River Alliance of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), UW Extension, in addition to over 20 other partner organizations throughout the state.
